Our People Contractor Of The Year Winner Emmanuel Andorful Each month we recognise the achievements of one of our cleaners through the Contractor of the Month Award. Contractors are nominated by their managers for their excellence and endeavour and the winner is always strongly contested! The winners of the Contractor of the Month Award go forward for the Contractor of the Year competition. The Winner of Contractor of the Year 2008 is Emmanuel Andorful. Emmanuel has 8 contracts in London and has four of which have been running smoothly for 4 years. Emmanuel's clients always find him helpful and responsive to their needs. He is an integral part of the Clean Space Team Charlie Mowat Managing Director Charlie is the leader of the company and a man who is committed to changing the way cleaners are treated and paid in the industry. He is a graduate of Oxford University and has a background in management consultancy. A keen sportsman. If he's not in the office he'll be up a mountain somewhere. Pete Bridge-Collyns Head of Manchester Pete formed the business in Manchester in January 2007 and has established it with a growing reputation. Pete joined The Clean Space after being an Area Manager for Aldi supermarkets and previously President of the SU at UCLAN. He enjoys travelling to check out the nightlife of other cities, home and abroad, and is a keen Nottingham Forest fan. Pete plans to take The Clean Space into other northern cities James Clements Sales Executive James is the newest member of the Sales team his and patch covers West London. He spent time in Australia "monkeying around”, but despite the accent, just be warned, he really comes from Barnes! Orla Kaye Client Services Mangager You’ll all get to speak to Orla every now and then as she calls you to check on your happiness. Orla has worked at The Clean Space since January 2007. She's your lady for any additional services...recycling...hand towels....carpet cleans....she knows her stuff! Nicola Gardner Financial Controller Nicola brings a wealth of financial experience to the Clean Space having worked in accounting for more years that she would care to reveal. During this time Nicola has worked with many numbers and come to the conclusion that her favourite is 4. When not balancing the books she enjoys visiting far flung destinations. Ed Heaver Head of Operations Having spent 15 years in the pub industry with Allied Breweries, Wizard Inns and Laurel in both operations and commercial, Ed has now set up an age-test business and a commercial consultancy as well as playing a greater role in The Clean Space, a company he has been involved in since 2004. He has a degree in Geography from Liverpool University and Masters from Manchester Metropolitan University in Retail Management. Married to Sarah who works in the criminal justice system he has 3 boys, 2 guinea pigs and 1 cat. His latest project is to become Charlie’s manager in the music world. Glenn Perry Sales Executive Glenn joined us in 2006 as a Contract Manager and was promoted to Head of Operations a year later. He has now made the jump into the Sales Team where he's using his knowledge of the business to win new clients. Previous to working with us he has had four years customer management experience with Coors Brewers and the PHS Group. He is a Welsh league amateur footballer. Nathan Farr Contract Manager Nathan the Sheffield Steeler; but originally from Rotherham, is the Senior Pro of the Operations Team. When not attending music festivals he can be found at the Book Club on Kilburn High Road, sipping on a latte and discussing the merits of existentialism. Victoria Richards HR Administrator Having come to London from Taunton, Victoria has traded her Wurzels CD and Scrumpy Jar for the more sophisticated delights of Brixton, where she was a promoter to rival Harvey Goldsmith. Since November 2006 she has been helping develop the Clean Space Cleaning Team. Sabrina Burke Accounts Assistant Sabrina is the latest addition to the finance team. She has just started having singing lessons so be warned when she calls you in the capacity of credit controller she may practice on you! She spends the majority of her spare time looking after her daughter who is nearly 4.
